100% payout
bonus features
Some slot machine games such as
Thunderstruck
have a bonus round feature that allow you to gamble to double or
quadruple your current winnings. The casinos normally take their
percentage payout from your main bet only and this means that the
bonus features are designed to have a payout percentage of 100%. This basically
means that if there are two options (red or black for example),
then there will be exactly 50% chance of each occurring and you
win double your money if you pick the correct one, and so the
casino do not take any percentage on these which means you have
the same chance of making money from it as the casino does. This is why
one of our tips is to
make the most of these bonus features and always
gamble your winnings on them when you can.
-
Only bet at casinos that have a high payout percentage (over 95%). See our
Casino reviews section for a list of casinos and their payout percentages.
-
Only bet at audited casinos that have their payouts checked and are sites that can
be trusted. ALL casinos mentioned on this site are reputable and audited.
-
Make the most of casinos sign-up bonuses.
Online casinos often offer bonuses to new players so you should always get these as they basically give you free money. (There are
terms to these though such as you have to normally gamble a set amount before you can withdraw the bonus money- but its still free
money!).
-
Always bet the maximum number of coins (especially on progressives), this gives you
a higher chance of winning on some slots. You will normally have a higher payout percentage if you bet 10p on 5 lines instead of 50p on
1 line.
-
Look out for slot machines with a large progressive jackpot. You should have the
same chance of winning the jackpot whatever size it is but the current payout percentage will be higher for bigger jackpots. See our
Progressive Jackpot Slots section for the best progressive slots around and their current
jackpots.

The gamble bonus
features on almost all bonus slot machines (all the ones we
have looked into) are treated as independent events each time you
decide to gamble. This means that on a slot machine bonus round
where you select whether a playing card will be red or black, it
does not matter what the card was the previous go and it still has
the same chance of being red or black the next go. So basically,
just because one red card has already gone it does not mean the
next card is more likely to be black and so don't change your
choice just because of that thought.
