Description of deposit/withdrawal methods
There are many different methods offered by casinos that you can use to deposit and withdrawal money. The main ones are described here
to help you decide which method is best for you. You should always check the methods a casino allows before you sign up with a casino.
- Credit Cards
Almost all casinos allow you to deposit money using a credit card (although some American credit card companies have regulations to try
and make it harder for their customers to do this).
- You can withdraw your winnings back to your credit card for free BUT you can normally only withdraw the
amount you originally deposited, so any further winnings will have to be withdrawn using a different method.
- Cashier checks
These are probably the most common method for withdrawing winnings. You can normally select what currency you want and then a check is
posted to you which you can take to your bank to cash in. A minimum amount will often apply and you will probably have to pay extra for
secure delivery. This is the slowest method of withdrawing your funds as you have to wait for delivery of the check and then wait for the
check to clear at the bank.
- ACH (Automated Clearing House)
US/Canadian bank account holders only. This is a bank transfer from one US checking account to another. This is normally free but takes
3-7 days to clear.
- Citadel
Citadel online check accounts work similar to ACH Online Checks and are for US customers only.
More information is available on the citadel website
- EcoCard
Withdrawing or depositing funds using this method will be instant and free. You may however have to pay fees when moving money between
your online EcoCard account and your bank account. There is no limits on the amounts that can be transferred and they work with Dollars,
pounds and euros. For more information on EcoCard go to their website
- FirePay
This is a web-based cash account (currently US accounts only). Withdrawing and depositing using this option is free and instant. For more
information have a look at the FirePay website
- Neteller
This is available at most casinos and for international customers (although US customers have more transfer options). You can deposit and
withdraw money instantly using this method for free or for just a small fee (depending on method used). More information is avalable on
the Neteller website
- Wire Transfer
This method could vary slightly depending on the casino and the bank you use but is traditionally seen as a safe way to transfer money. However, you have to pay fees
to your bank to do this (and sometimes also to the casino) and there could be additional charges for exchanging currency and so it is
best to use other methods if possible or to only use this method for withdrawing large winnings.
